| Late Goal in Extra Time by Gotze sealed the game for Germany Win |
Dedicated to Germany who is my favorite team that finally won the World Cup 2014 since 1990. The 4th time for the country. And also the first non-Americas team to win the world cup on Americas soil as host. (this fact was mentioned a few time as run-up to the match as Germany is not really the favorite to win because of the stats encounter between Argentina and Germany. Argentina won more time in the encounters.

The Day I Met A Japanese Girl
Posted by Kris | Sunday, June 16, 2013 | Lenglui, Milestone, Travel | 15 comments »
I want to note down this encounter with a pretty and cute Japanese girl while on my travels so I can remember it as part of my life experience. I do feel that in my hectic life, I sometimes missed or forget the brief moment of my life where time seems to stop still. And also some of memorable experience that during my travels away from my hectic worklife.
I like to take a lot of pictures until sometimes, I do forget where/when I took them hence I started to post them on my facebook so that I can remember them. lol.
Okey, back to the cute Japanese girl story, circa 8 June. (Sorry guys!!, no pictures of her here for privacy reasons. She reminded me of Rukia of Bleach anime though because her short hair styling)
When I saw her (side view), she was toying with her Iphone to find her next destination on the train. She had a very very fair skin and perfect complexion which really attracted my attention to her even though I was very tired and cannot wait to go back to my hotel. She had a short hair and holding a rose in her other hand. She literally emits graceful-ness , so absorbed in her Iphone that I am not sure whether she noticed that I was observing her. (still side view though)
I told myself "die-die" also need to step up and chat up with her even though for a brief moment while on the train. Life is short and brief, so what the heck! I don't think I will get to see her again after my travels have ended.
Next would be what I think is the worst pickup line ever: I asked whether I can take a picture of her :D Not really sure WTF I was thinking back then.
To my surprised, she agreed and pose for my photo. After that we chatted and she told me that she is from Japan and is a student, travelling around the country (alone in a foreign country) during the school breaks. Wow, so brave for a young girl which is not very common for Malaysian girls. So we talked more about which Japanese city she is from , whether she like the current weather and also I know that she was a in a school band. I even ask her whether she visited Malaysia, which she joking told me that she only visited Malaysia for just 3 hours via transit and bought some pewter souvenirs.
Throughout the conversation, I noticed that she is very courteous and graceful in terms of the way she converse in perfect English. I never talked to a Japanese before but I heard a lot about Japanese courtesy that is due to their strict cultural upbringing in life.
One story that always caught my imagination is that during the Japanese Tsunami aftermath, there were NO looting or rioting of the abandoned properties, shops, etc. There was simply no panic and there is civil order even though nature had savagely destroyed most of the things out there. For me, that is simply AMAZING and this in IMHO CAN only happen if you ingrained deeply the sense of civil minded and public order from childhood.
No amount of civil law and the thought severe punishments can cultivate such civil behaviours especially during the state of emergency where the darker side of human desperation starts to come out.
Time flies and the train stopped at her destination which is a tourist spot which I visited a few days before. If it were possible aka I don't need to catch a plane home, I would not mind to accompany her to see the place again. ^_^
Before she stepped out, I got her FB account (of course I added her) and took one more self photo of both of us.
All in all, it was a very memorable short and brief encounter with a cute Japanese girl. After I have a long thought about it, it was NOT the cuteness of her physical outlook (perfect complexion) that charmed me, it was her courteous and graceful mannerism.
Maybe someday I will have the chance to visit Japan & maybe, meet up with her again over coffee. :D
P.S: I read today that Malaysian can now have multiple entry visas into Japan.

KnowThyMoney's Pick: Miss Cheongsam Penang 2013
Posted by Kris | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | Lenglui, SideTrack | 3 comments »
It is Sunday again. So some light reading today. (or viewing). I bet that like any financial blog, majority of my readers would be hot-blooded males. Girls rarely interested about financial related issues. (Average)
And Penang is either populated by pretty girls or they just like to do beauty contests. Since Chinese New Year 2013 is around the corner, it just perfect to do a cheongsam beauty pageant.
I 110% believe that cheongsam is one of the hardest outfit to wear for a girl to look very good it in. You need the right body proportion and curves to fit sexily perfectly into it.
So Parkroyal Penang has organized the following Cheongsam beauty pageant. Just go to their page and like your favorite cheongsam girl.
P.S I still think that some of them should pose differently and the photographer should post full body pics so that you know that the cheongsam looks good on the girls or not.
So here is KnowThyMoney's Top 3 pick, in no particular order. (There seems to be a coincidence that all my top 3 girls are "lucky numbers" aka 6,7,8

Keep On Trying by Utada Hikaru : Infinite Loop Mode
Posted by Kris | Saturday, January 12, 2013 | Lenglui, SideTrack | 0 comments »
I particularly like this song from Utada Hikaru , entitled "Keep On Trying", although I don't understand Japanese at all.I just like her voice and the rhythm of the melodic song. I just followed her VERIFIED twitter account @utadahikaru
Now trying to find her entire album collection lying in my 500GB harddisk to put it into my Galaxy Note playlist for my listening pleasures. I can listen to her in an infinite loop mode: hahaha, it really helps me to concentrate even during my days studying in the uni. Hope she took a look at this post and continue to make more music for me to listen.
I found this sound to be up-lifting, as in life we must always keep on trying to achieve our dreams such as in the music video where Hikki cosplays various roles, such as student, bus conductor, and even mayor giving their best while doing their job.
Well, for 2013, I am kickstarting all my side projects and collaborating it with my partners & friends :D Besides writing my 1st ebook. See here: My ebook.

If You Are Born Ugly, Don't Worry, Go South Korea

Trolling the net and found this reality TV show that gave a young woman a major plastic surgery transformation. I was like *shocked*. Really look like a Korean movie starlet.
Towards the end of the video, you will see that even her classmates and close friends are shocked to see her new look. I did not imagine such a drastic change as the first few minute, you will see her face being bandaged up and I don't really see any difference yet.
Amazing what Korean plastic surgeon can do :D Here is the link to the video.
She looked like this before:
Then undergone some "instagram"-like filter, poof...open sesame!!
Literally, everything "enchanced" like the emoticon below.. And she even admits it openly. She's SEXY and She Knows it...hahaha.. (LFMAO song, in the background).
P.S If you managed to read this post and enjoy the beautiful Miss Korea photos, you will know that it is NOT the END of the WORLD...haha...I TOLD YOU SO..........

Instagram Owns Your Photo's Right
Posted by Kris | Tuesday, December 18, 2012 | Happenings, Lenglui, SideTrack | 5 comments »
Today I just noticed that there is a policy change on my Instagram app. Usually, I don't really bother about reading policy changes. However, when I was reading my twitter feed I noticed that there is a trending article on Instagram's huge policy change.
It now will literally OWN the right of your photo's that you upload to Instagram from 16 Jan 2013 onward. Instagram will have the power to sell your photos to the highest bidder WITHOUT your permission. And to add salt to the wound, it does NOT require you to pay single cent.
Here are the policy statement.
Proprietary Rights in Content on Instagram
- Instagram does NOT claim ANY ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") that you post on or through the Instagram Services. By displaying or publishing ("posting") any Content on or through the Instagram Services, you hereby grant to Instagram a non-exclusive, fully paid and royalty-free, worldwide, limited license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce and translate such Content, including without limitation distributing part or all of the Site in any media formats through any media channels, except Content not shared publicly ("private") will not be distributed outside the Instagram Services.
- Some of the Instagram Services are supported by advertising revenue and may display advertisements and promotions, and you hereby agree that Instagram may place such advertising and promotions on the Instagram Services or on, about, or in conjunction with your Content. The manner, mode and extent of such advertising and promotions are subject to change without specific notice to you.
- You represent and warrant that: (i) you own the Content posted by you on or through the Instagram Services or otherwise have the right to grant the license set forth in this section, (ii) the posting and use of your Content on or through the Instagram Services does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, intellectual property rights or any other rights of any person, and (iii) the posting of your Content on the Site does not result in a breach of contract between you and a third party. You agree to pay for all royalties, fees, and any other monies owing any person by reason of Content you post on or through the Instagram Services.
I hope pictures like above don't get abused and sold off without notifying the girl to a hanky panky website :D
Btw: The girl is Stella Ch'ng, just follow her here.

Vanity Credit Card: Alliance Bank You:nique Card
Posted by Kris | Saturday, December 15, 2012 | Lenglui, SideTrack | 0 comments »
Alliance bank really "banks" in on consumer's vanity with its You:nique Card, where you can put a personalized picture printed on your credit card!! wow.
Alliance bank is not really aggressive in its credit card marketing, hence I did not know about this before. I only saw this personalised credit card from a posting in Facebook by the lovely Pearly Hoo. At first, I thought it was some good photo-shopping work because this marketing gimmick is truly unique. Which girl or guy does not want their BEST picture being printed on the credit card. Heck this is better than your standard dull and gloomy Malaysian Identity card photo since the photo can be as fashionable as you like.
P.S I sometimes cannot even recognized my own old photo on my I.C
Here are some of detail about this card. The links is here.
Now I wonder whether I can put some lenglui picture (like the Park Shin Hye picture above. I don't also mind getting Pearly's nice picture on my card) on the credit card so that I will feel very happy each time I swipe my credit card...lalala (That is what bankers wants consumer to do, swipe as much as you can :D. I always feel that a guy that has good guitar skills can be very attractive to the female species..damn!! I am not musically gifted)
Her name is Melinda Wong Wai Mei hailing from Petaling Jaya. She will celebrate her birthday soon on 9th November 1988.
Let's support our young and local music talent :)

Introducing Demi Lee KeQing (可晴)
Posted by Kris | Wednesday, June 20, 2012 | Lenglui, SideTrack | 0 comments »
While surfing the internet, I only discovered that she is a currently a local artiste and singer. Okey, I have to admit I seldom listen to Chinese songs, I am more leaning towards techno beats and soft rock :D
![]() |
| Natural Look |
Not much profile info about her though. I never seen her in TV before though. Most Malaysian Chinese artiste usually becomes famous when they manage to breakthrough the Taiwanese market?? That is my personal thoughts though. Taiwan is usually the favorite place to launch new singers to stardom. We have a few successful Malaysian singers launching their career in Taiwan , becoming famous there before coming back to Malaysia to perform :D.
The only info I know is that she is only 18 years old but her voice sounds mature. (I thought with anime/barbie type face, her voice would sound cartoonish/cute-ish")
Looks like a lot of talent are getting younger and younger. Malaysia has a lot of talent just that they seldom given enough exposure to fully showcase their talent.
Another example is Brenda Londoh. (I saw her perform a few times on national TV and has a following in Indonesia, which I think has a huge market due to its huge population)
If any readers out there that know more about her, feel free to share in the comments.

Saw this while randomly trolling cyberspace. Okeylar..I took notice of the video because of the cute nerds :D
I am biased towards smart girls or "perceived" to be smart type of girl.

I am not sure about the Design courses though. Lol. I think it is more true for students that graduated and stepped into the engineering world for a few years.
