On Monday, DJIA rose 400 points, eagerly waiting for more any good news on the Q3 earnings. Earnings are a disappointment, thus today the market is kinda quiet. No more drastic swings..side way movement will erode the time premium of the options..so volatility will decrease if this continues on.
VIX is quite high ~60 to 70 after the post traumatic drop of Black Friday.
I don't have any trading ideas lately. Better stay sideline rather attempting to catch the bottom.
