I want to share a good site that hosts FREE online lecture talks on various subjects ranging from Engineering to Finance. Most of the video & lectures are from renowned Stanford University famous for its technological entrepreneurs, besides being a well known engineering based university.
I wonder when our local universities will take the next step to broadcast their lectures to the world wide web, since most our university always talk about being world-class university. IMHO, to be a world class university, you need to produce good quality research and paper publications. (And not submitting for the sake of submission to fulfill quotas) Furthermore, you also need to produce productive graduates that can contribute back to the country in their field of expertise aka through entrepreneurship.
It is a good sign that our ministry acknowledge that entrepreneur knowledge/exposure is now vital for Malaysia undergraduates. ( I saw it as one of the questions in a compulsory graduation survey for Malaysian graduates). Nevertheless, lets actions speak louder than words!! This is something not well practiced here.
Here is the site:

This is very useful and interesting. I need to look at the course that I interested(maybe Psychology, Sex and Evolution) hahaha...
Btw, how is the video streaming speed? It is quite slow here.
My streaming speed is quite fast, and it is smooth to watch, surprisingly even though I am using wireless. Btw, I am using a 2G streamyx line.
2G is pretty fast. I'm just using the most basic package. Maybe I should upgrade. 2G is how much per month?
There is an unwritten rumor, about streamyx, if your area/apartment has someone using 4G, you will get "upgraded" to 4G even though you are paying for 1G only which is my case :P or somehow they mess up my account in a good way ..LOL . I tested my download/upload speed.
Don't waste time trying to confirm this rumor with TM though, they will surely deny it.
But, somehow my place only got these awesome effects , when I changed my streamyx package lately.
But normally, 2G will cost RM80 per month i think. 4G is depending on the area you live and cost like RM88 per month only.
No wonder, maybe you guys eat up all my bandwidth. :) I'm using 512K only if not mistaken for RM66. RM88 doesn't sound very expensive. Will consider...
