RPGT 2014
RPGT 2014

Not sure how many people know about this, but every Malaysian is entitled to waive the Real Property Gain Tax once in his/her lifetime. This GOLDEN waiver can save your alot of $$$$ especially if you capital gains from disposing your property is huge.

Since it can only be used once, use your golden ticket wisely, and only use the waiver when you think your capital gain is the highest of them all especially if you are a property investor, or when you are leaving the country for good.

Good write-up by @ChampDog on the required documents.

Fairy Tale Hello Kitty McDonalds Malaysia Craze?

Hello Kitty
Surprising I don't see people queuing up to buy Hello Kitty Fairy Tales series by McDonalds. For RM9.95, this plush toy is made with decent quality as compared to the plastic minion toy which is made of low quality material, yet people are rushing to buy it like it is the end of the world. See here to read about the insane euphoria!!. http://www.knowthymoney.com/2013/07/mcd-minion-toy-craze-in-malaysia.html

The one that I bought is the Wizard Of Oz Hello Kitty character. Hello Kitty is dressed up as the lion who in the story continues to the journey with Dorothy to find the Wizard of Oz to get his courage.

Life Without Limits By Nick Vujicic

Nick Vujicic's Life Without Limit
Nick Vujicic is a man born without any limbs, just a small feet. Yet, he overcome all this an become a well known motivation speaker and he has a lovely wife and child. Recently, he came to Malaysia as a speaker.

Just bought his 1st book since Popular is displaying it with his other 2 books, while I was wondering around waiting for some guy to move his car from blocking my car. With a Popular membership card, I bought this for a 20% discount from the original price of RM39.90. :)

I don't want to deny that I am somewhat frustrated in my life lately. Some of my close friends detected this through my FB postings. Since this is my personal blog also, it is good to denote what happen in my life so that one day, I can go back and look at it, and will see the silver lining in it.

"Everything happens for a reason", in the case of Nick, if you think about it, it is really hard for him to remain optimistic in his initial pre-teen years. If he can remain happy and accepts his own physical conditions & limitation (for an average normal person, we will think that his condition is very disabling and will certainly pity him ALOT), how much so for those well-bodied people out there who despair just because he/she is not pretty enough, smart enough, rich enough, tall enough or even not having a boyfriend/girlfriend.

His physical condition is his solid testament that hope, faith, love can change lives for the better. I think his initial problems were much bigger than my personal dilemmas & frustrations, yet he manage to overcome it. And his book is a retelling of his story.

Yet, he is contented. And even managed to find the love of his life (the wife is quite good looking), even though he did not think any woman would want him before. Well, i think their love story would be a subject for another new book??

Carpe Diem! Seize The Day and live life to the fullest.

Life is indeed short, I heard news of my former teacher returning to the Lord's house at young age of 51. T.T

P.S I only read thru Chapter 1 of his book today, when I finish maybe I will write a review on it.

Enjoy your weekends.

How To Be Become A Music Artiste

Posted by Kris | Monday, November 04, 2013 | | 0 comments »

I am on leave to enjoy the long stretch of holidays. Took some time off to do my personal finance stuff in order before the end of the year. Yes, 2 months and we will enter 2014. Are you on track on your 2013 resolutions?

I noticed that nowadays there is alot of what i deemeed is a self-published music artiste, trying to break it big into the music scene. If you have the talent, Youtube is one of the best exposure that you can have. And coupled with a well made music video, perhaps you will get signed up by a big music label, and you will make $$$$.

While I watching Youtube videos, I found a R&B music video by this guy below : Jeff Dixon. I like R&B music for its soothing rhymes, especially when I need clarity to my mine. I have a wide interest in music genre, everything except heavy metal!!

You can buy his music album here:

On the flip side, I like techno music and house music when I am doing my work. (it helps me to concentrate, hehe. In university time, I turn it on when solving engineering math problems)

There is a growth and demand of sexy female disco DJ. An ad at Facebook caught my attention. Okeylar, I admit, she caught my attention. She is Kitty Coda based off Sydney. Her  DJ name rings similar to Kumi Koda. (one of my favorite Japanese artiste)

At first, I thought she is a Malaysian. lol.

But the true test for a techno lover like me whether she is able to turn the turntables and heat up the disco floor?? You be the judge :D

Still Want To Invest In Properties!? REIT Dividend Yield 2013

With the banning of the DIBS scheme on new developments, and the dreaded RPGT increase, I am now seeing a lot of property gurus now moving into the following trends and propagating these following advice to their followers:

1. Buying 'distressed' properties at auctions

So you are seeing alot of them conducting courses/training on how to bid in an auction, the processes, refinancing tricks (some property books decline to discuss about this super simple method, they deemed it as a "TRADE secret" that can be explained in paid seminars. Here), etc.
